A NEW competition has been launched offering emerging artists the chance to perform on its main stage at Boardmasters this summer.

Boardmasters Breaking is open to vocalists, bands, DJs and artists of any genre or age based in the South West.

The winner will receive an opening slot on the main stage on Sunday, August 9, full weekend festival access with a plus one per performer, access to the artist area on Sunday, professionally shot content from their performance, a dedicated feature on CLUNK Magazine's Instagram, and a dedicated announcement across Boardmasters' social channels.

All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted by the Boardmasters team.

The final winner will be selected by BBC Introducing and revealed on Monday, May 25.
