POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to locate a wanted man from Newquay.

Jason Holland, 43, is being sought in connection with an assault, which happened on January 19. One person sustained serious injuries.

Holland is described as a white male, around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He has a shaved head and cropped beard. He may also carry a holdall.

He also has links to the Penzance and Pendeen areas of West Cornwall.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to locate a 43-year-old wanted man from Newquay.

“Jason Holland is wanted in connection to a serious assault in Newquay on the evening of 19 January.

“Enquiries are ongoing and we’re asking for the public to report any information which may assist us.”
