THE body of a man has been discovered near Chacewater.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called after concerns were raised for welfare of a man on Tuesday, March 31.

Officers attended the location and located the man

The man in his thirties was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called on Tuesday, March 31 following a concern for welfare for a man in the Truro area.

“Officers attended a location near Chacewater and located the man.

“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man in his thirties was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“His next of kin has been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“A file will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
