HUNGRY cats will be fed for 25 days thanks to funds raised by a Truro games night.
Happy Piranha Café on Pydar Street held a Paws & Play night on Saturday, July 12 in aid of Cats Protection Cornwall Cat Centre, raising over £100 in ticket sales and donations on the night.
Around 25 cat-lovers gathered to play board games including cat-themed Calico and Boop and in-development game Take the Throne.
Happy Piranha’s Sam Gaunt said: “This was our first event for the charity and it was brilliant to see so many people, including new faces who were keen to return for our regular board game nights.”
Cats Protection community fundraising officer Debs Bond added: “It was a fantastic night with plenty of cat-chat, friendly competition, big laughs and great food. Every penny raised will have a direct benefit for the cats in care.”
