Emergency services rescued a dog after it fell off the edge of a cliff in Newquay on Thursday night.
Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team and Newquay RNLI Lifeboats were tasked to reports of a dog who had gone over the edge of the cliff in the Gazzle and Towan Headland area at about 8pm.
The lifeboat crew picked up by the dog after carrying out a search.
The dog was taken back to Newquay Harbour where the pet was reunited with its owners safe and well.
A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team said: “Whilst out walking your dog along cliff tops please keep them on a lead no matter how well behaved they normally are.
“If you see someone in difficulty do not attempt to rescue them yourselves, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
