Will Trewin will make his first start in the Championship for Cornish Pirates tomorrow when they travel to Bedford Blues (3pm).
The full back has impressed when making appearances from the replacements’ bench.
Fly-half Arwel Robson returns to the starting line-up for the Cornish Pirates, as does tight-head prop Matt Johnson and number 8 Rusiate Tuima, whose inclusion sees Seb Nagle-Taylor switch to blindside flanker and fellow backrower Alex Everett named in the 7 shirt.
This will be a fourth versus seventh in the league clash at Goldington Road, with the Blues unbeaten at home in the Championship this season and having won 41-21 when the two teams met at the Mennaye Field in September.
Pirates coach Louie Tonkin said: “Goldington Road is a tough place to go and against a Blues team that is in good form and is well placed in the league.
“Unbeaten at home this season, they have every reason to feel confident at present and it will naturally be a difficult challenge.
“Having said that, after performing pretty well these past couple of weeks we are excited and in buoyant mood, and if we get the key factors right then it should make for a very good game.”
