The 37th annual Cornish Mob Match was held by Falmouth Running Club on Sunday, November 23 which was won by Cornwall AC’s Peter Le Grice.
The five-mile road race, which also doubles up as the Cornish Grand Prix presentation day for the 2025 season, starts around the magnificent Pendennis Headland, then goes along Falmouth's iconic seafront – passing the renowned Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches - before a fast finish outside the famous Falmouth Hotel.
Le Grice’s success was achieved in a rapid time of 24:37, 80 seconds clear of club-mate Joshua Rowe in second.
Truro Running Club’s Steve Reynolds completed the top three, in a time of 26:25.
The winner of the ladies’ race was Cornwall AC’s Steph Hutton who was 24th overall in 29:31. She was ahead of Mile High’s Sarah Hoskin (30:55) and Cornwall AC’s Isabelle Davies (31:28) who took second and third respectively.

THE presentation for the 2025 Cornish Grand Prix race series was held at the Falmouth Hotel following the event.
For the first time in their history, Hayle Runners were the joint winners in both the men’s and ladies sections alongside traditional powerhouse Cornwall AC.
The overall ladies winner from across the various age groups was Anne Matthews from Perran Trail Runners with a score of 3,973 just three ahead of Hayle’s Melissa Nicholas who edged out Tamar Trotters’ Kat Darby.
In the men’s event, Truro’s Steve Reynolds was a clear winner with a mammoth score of 3,997 with James Cutlan (3,963 - Cornwall AC) and Jamie Edwards (3,957 - Newquay Road Runners) second and third respectively.
The top three in each age group were as follows with the best eight race scores to count with each race earning a maximum of 200 points.
