Police have been informed that a woman involved in a collision on the A30, Saturday, April 29, has died.

Officer were called at around 3pm that day to reports of a collision between a van and a pedestrian on the A30 between Avers and Tolvaddon on the westbound carriageway.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s from the Redruth area, was initially taken to Derriford hospital for treatment. Police were informed a few days later that she had passed away.

The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a thorough investigation of the scene was carried out.
