DO you think you have what it takes to be crowned the World's Fastest Crimper? If so, sign up for the first amateur World’s Fastest Crimper Contest on Saturday, March 1 at the Great Cornish Food Store in Truro.

Run by the Cornish Pasty Association (CPA), the contest is for amateurs only - so whether you’re a weekly home pasty baker or just fancy having a go, you’re in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes.

There will be two categories — adult and under 16 — producing two winners who recorded the fastest times in the crimp-offs. All ingredients will be provided.

There will be all-day fun in store, including pasty demonstrations and tastings, face painting and shanty singing.
