A section of the vandal hit public toilets at Newquay’s skatepark have reopened following repairs.

A cubicle underwent essential repairs following the infrastructure, fittings and electrics being damaged in the conveniences at Concrete Waves sometime on Monday, September 22.

A town council spokesperson said: “We’re pleased that the right-hand cubicle at the skate park toilet is now open following essential repairs.

“A great deal of time and public money has gone into making this facility safe and usable again. We kindly ask everyone who uses it to treat it with respect. The public toilet is there for the benefit of the whole community.

“Let’s keep it clean, functional, and welcoming for all.”
