TRAIN services between Truro and Falmouth Docks have been disrupted due to a broken-down train. Services running on the branchline have been cancelled following the failure of one of the two trains operating on it.

A GWR spokesperson confirmed a replacement train had been resourced the half-hourly service is scheduled to be reinstated at 12.45pm. Passengers are advised to use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner or speak to a member of the station team to check if a journey by rail is possible.

Replacement transport has not been provided but rail tickets can be used on selected local bus routes – including T2, U1 and 2, 36 and 60 - at no extra cost.

If you arrive at your destination 15 or more minutes late because your GWR train was delayed or cancelled, you can apply for Delay Repay compensation at GWR.com/DelayRepay.
