TRURO City’s trophy presentation and open-top bus parade will be taking place this Saturday, May 10.
The Tinners became Vanarama National League South champions after a dramatic final day of the campaign, heading a remarkable six-way scrap for a place in the National League.
And after a resounding 5-2 triumph over St Albans City, bettering Torquay United’s result at Hemel Hempstead Town, Truro became the first ever Cornish side to win promotion to Step One of the non-League pyramid.
However, due to the unprecedented last day scenario, the National League decided that no trophy presentation would take place on matchday 46, with the league champions crowned at a later date.
The club have confirmed that the trophy presentation will take place in the High Cross part of the City, outside Truro Cathedral.
The players will arrive in the city centre on board an open-top bus before disembarking for the trophy presentation.
Once the presentation is completed the team will board the open top bus again, for a celebratory tour of Truro before returning to the TCS.
