STUDENTS from Truro’s Richard Lander School stepped onto the Cornwall Playhouse stage last Thursday to meet the cast of SIX The Musical.
Hot on the (high) heels of their own school production of SIX (Teen Edition), the students enjoyed picture opportunities, one-to-one chats and received signed programmes with their professional counterparts.
The global smash-hit that gives the six wives of Henry VIII 80 minutes sisterhood, sass and 21st-century girl power, SIX enjoyed a second sell-out run at the Cornwall Playhouse last week.
“This moment went right to the heart of our mission as a charity,” said chief executive Julien Boast. “Whether it’s a student stepping onto a star-laden stage, or young eyes being opened through our Get Creative programme and the shows on the Cornwall Playhouse stage, we’re here to open doors, spark ideas, and show the transformative power of the arts.”
