OFFICERS are seeking witnesses to a collision in Truro which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called at 10.40am today (Thursday, May 14), after a black Citroen DS3 was in collision with a woman on Union Hill.
The woman, who is in her 40s and from Truro, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital by Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Roads policing officers from Devon and Cornwall Police closed the road for several hours for an investigation of the scene and for the car to be recovered. It has since reopened.
They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage to get in touch. This can be submitted via the force website or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 208 of May 14.
