Head of sixth form, Joanne Handford, praised the students’ commitment and resilience, said: “We are incredibly proud of each and every student. Their achievements are the result of not just academic effort, but also the dedication, guidance, and encouragement from our staff, families, and wider school community.”

Joanne Handford added: “Our Sixth Form’s personal approach means students are never just a number — we know their ambitions, and we work alongside them to make those ambitions a reality. As a smaller setting, we can offer support and guidance every step of the way. Today’s results are proof that when you combine aspiration with the right support, amazing things happen.”

A spokesperson for Treviglas added: “The Sixth Form has once again demonstrated its exceptional ability to nurture and support every student on their educational journey. This year, every student who applied has secured a place in further education, with the vast majority achieving the qualifications required for their first-choice university.

“Treviglas Sixth Form’s bespoke courses and prestigious Scholars’ Programme continue to set it apart, enabling students to pursue specialist fields and secure places at universities renowned for their excellence in those areas.

“Students have followed tailored routes designed to match their aspirations and strengths whether studying the arts, sciences, or vocational pathways.”

Treviglas Academy and Sixth Form continue to receive recognition for their high standards, holding a Good Ofsted rating across all areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and Sixth form provision.

Inspectors highlighted that, in the growing sixth form, students learn effectively. The school ensures that the qualifications it offers reflect the interests of its students.

Students feel well supported when applying to academically selective universities, starting apprenticeships, or entering employment. They value the highly personalised support from staff and the many enrichment opportunities on offer, including the extended project qualification.

The A-level celebrations reflected more than grades on a page. They celebrated relationships, resilience, and readiness for the next stage of life that Treviglas Sixth Form instils in its young people.
