THE Newquay Tourist Information Centre is on the move to a new location.

Visit Newquay, which is situated at the town council offices in Marcus Hill, is relocating to Newquay Library and Information Centre.

A Visit Newquay spokesperson said: “The Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre is getting a new home but don’t worry, it’s just around the corner.

“We’re relocating to Newquay Library & Information Service at the bottom of Marcus Hill with the same phone number, same address and same great service.

“There will be new opening times following the move. Visit Newquay will be closed on Sundays but will be open on Saturdays with longer hours. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space.”

Mayor Cllr Drew Creek said: “I’m delighted that our Newquay Tourist Information team is moving to become an integral part of the library space.

“This innovative approach creates a single, central point of contact for all town council queries. It ensures that, unlike the recent demise of Visit Cornwall, Visit Newquay will remain a vibrant, accessible service for tourists and locals for years to come.

“It also allows for better, more collaborative work across our council team, breaking down silos for a more efficient service.”
