Music fans descended on Falmouth to watch one of the country’s top reggae and dub acts on Saturday night.

Dreadzone performed in front of 600 people at Princess Pavalion as part of its anniversary tour celebrating ‘30 years of Dread.’

Core members Greg Dread and original bassmaster Leo Williams with legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16 were joined by Bazil on technology and Blake Robert, Greg’s son, on guitar in the live line-up.

Dreadzone refocussed their show in 2022 after MC Spee was forced to step back from touring and they explored different aspects of their history and catalogue ahead of their 30th anniversary.

The band took the crowd on a journey of some of their most memorable tunes which included Little Britain, Iron Shirt, Zion, Rise Up, Life Love and Unity as well as Fight the Power.
