STUDENTS arrived in classic cars and an ice cream van – and even on a horse and cart – for the 2025 Poltair School prom.

The event was hosted at the Alverton Hotel in Truro and arrivals were greeted by family members, school staff and friends.

The students enjoyed a red carpet welcome, a three-course meal and a night of dancing and laughter.

Headteacher Richard Cardigan said: “The Poltair prom was a powerful reminder of everything that makes our Poltair community so special. The class of 2025 have grown into remarkable young people and it was a real privilege to celebrate their journey with them.

“Their pride, joy and sense of togetherness lit up the evening. It truly was a night to remember.”
