Lion Colin Wellington said: “We will be making sure Santa can visit families across the town this December before his World Tour that starts on the evening of December 24.

“Towan Blystra Lions will be guiding Santa safely through the streets of Newquay in his sleigh as he visits communities in the run-up to Christmas.

“Families are encouraged to step outside, give Santa a wave, snap a photo, and if they wish drop a few coins or tap a card into his collection bucket, helping the Lions support good causes throughout the local area.

“Don’t forget his elves are delighted to receive any letters for Santa on his trip and, if you want to know exactly where he is at any point, just visit www.newquaysanta.com for a live update on the evenings concerned and to view his planned routes.

“The Lions look forward to welcoming families across Newquay once again as Santa spreads festive cheer and supports the community he loves.”
