RESIDENTS are being offered an opportunity to raise Newquay issues and take part in discussion on matters affecting the local community.

The Annual Town Meeting will take place at St Michael’s Church on Tuesday, May 26 from 6pm and is open to registered electors in the town.

The gathering gives residents the chance to hear about local matters, bring forward topics of interest, and contribute to a community discussion about Newquay.

Attendees will be able to raise questions and highlight issues in a managed and open forum.

A Newquay Town Council spokesperson said: “Questions can only be asked by electors of Newquay, and attendees may be asked to provide proof of address on arrival. Please note that this is not a meeting of Newquay Town Council.”
