Representatives from the various organisations laid wreaths at the Newquay War Memorial following the church service.
Parade marshal Daz Keeler said: “It is a very proud day for Newquay to see the town coming together to pay their respects.
“One of the most enjoyable parts was seeing all the children taking part from the scouts, brownies and girl guides. They understand it and that means a lot of service personnel and veterans.”
A Poppy Appeal Concert was held at St Michael’s Church on Friday night, which raised more than £1,700 for the Newquay Poppy Appeal.
The Royal British Legion Newquay Branch hosted the annual fundraiser that featured Newquay Rowing Club Singers, Newquay Male Voice Choir, Newquay Band and Oll an Gwella.
A flag raising ceremony will be held as part of the Remembrance events, which will be staged at Newquay Town Council offices on Tuesday, November 11 at 9.30am.
