FOODIES are chomping at the bit following the announcement a popular street food festival will be returning to Newquay.

The Cornwall Street Food Festival will be held at the Barrowfields over the late May Bank Holiday from Friday, May 24, to Monday, May 27.

More than 25 top street food traders will serve cuisines from across the world so visitors will be able to feast on anything from Indian to Vietnamese, Thai to Moroccan, Mexican to Afghan, and Caribbean to Uzbek.

Organisers Street Food Warehouse have lined up various traders, which includes the ‘Two Lads Kitchen,’ cooking up their traditional Afghan wraps full of unique flavours and spices all wrapped in fresh naan.

South West-based trader ‘Wok n Roll’ will also join the line-up showcasing their delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

For all the dessert lovers Falmouth-born Fresh Crepes will be attending to satisfy people’s sweet tooth with their fresh-to-order crepes.
