A popular night club and pub in Cornwall has closed to undergo a £1million plus refurbishment.

Sailors Pub and Night Club in Newquay has shut until early March for the improvements to be carried out.

A spokesperson for The Sailors Arms said: “We are excited to announce that we will be undergoing a complete refurbishment worth over £1 million.

"We will be closed from early January until mid-March, while the investment takes place.

"We cannot wait to share with everyone our transformation, keep an eye on our website and social media for more information.”
