POLICE are turning to the public for assistance in identifying a man following an attempted robbery in Illogan.

Police report that at around 9.45pm on Friday, June 6, a male suspect entered Morrisons Daily on Robartes Terrace.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “He threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded alcohol, but left the store empty handed when his demands were refused.

“It is believed the man pictured may be able to help officers with their enquiries.”
