A CORDON has been put in place and roads have been closed following a gas leak in Probus.
A crew from Truro Fire Station are in attendance at a gas leak near to Tresillian Business Park, which happened at about 7.30am.
A 500m cordon has been put in place in conjunction with Devon and Cornwall Police. The main A390 and B3275 have been closed, and the public are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: “Engineers are in attendance to isolate the gas supply. Cornwall Fire and Rescue and Devon and Cornwall Police continue to work together to maintain a cordon and inform local residents.
“Cornwall Fire and Rescue left the incident in the hands of gas engineers and Devon and Cornwall Police at 9.15am. The main A390 should be reopened soon but the B3274 will remain closed whilst gas engineers continue their work.”
