FANS of rock and roll, classic cars and motorcycles visited the Shades Rock and Roll Club Classic Car and Bike Show on Sunday, August 17.

Penwithick Social Club, near St Austell, was the venue for the ninth outing of the annual event that saw plenty of gleaming metal on display for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

With various cherished vehicles, including hot rods, classic cars and vintage motorcycles, there was much to interest car and motorbike enthusiasts.

Providing the musical entertainment at the free event was local rock and roll band Play It Cool.

The event enjoyed a good turnout and visitors could enjoy an open bar, ice cream from a 1950s van, as well as hot food and drink that were on sale.
