PLANS have been submitted to demolish a house in Newquay that has views over Fistral Beach and build two properties on the site.
The scheme involves knocking down a dwelling in Pentire Avenue and dividing the plot to construct the new residential properties.
The planning statement said: “The applicant wishes to divide the existing site in two and provide two dwellings to a high visual and constructional standard.
“The dwelling to the south of the site will be sold on to finance the project and the applicant intends to occupy the replacement dwelling to the north.
“The built form of the southern most dwelling will be a two-storey simple flat roof aesthetic.
“The replacement dwelling will be a simple three storey flat roof aesthetic , essentialy split in two.”
