A LOCATION near Truro could soon be used for the siting of two heavy goods vehicles if an application to the Traffic Commissioner is successful.

Mark Richard Harvey, trading as Mark Harvey, of Swallows Court, Ladock, Truro, TR2 4QD, has applied for the granting of a licence for an operating centre for the siting of two goods vehicles and zero trailers.

An operating centre for a goods vehicle licence is the base where vehicles and trailers are normally kept when not in use. It must be specified on the operator’s licence, with sufficient off-street parking, and comply with environmental and planning requirements. It is usually a depot or site.

Representations in respect of this application must be made within 21 days of March 4, 2026.
