AFTER a damp, breezy start to the week the weather will be much more settled from today and even hot at the weekend.

There are still plenty of octopus around and a few Cornish King Crabs, although not in the quantities they used to be.

Hopefully the boat trips will pick up this weekend with the bank Holiday and excellent weather.

The Active promenade is looking much better after all new concrete and tarmac was installed. We are just waiting for new seating now. It will be much better.

This Saturday, Stargazer are playing at Newquay Rowing Club 9pm.
