AFTER nice weather last week, it will be a bit cooler with north westerly winds for a couple days.
It will be slightly better towards the weekend.
There are a huge amount of octopus around at the moment, and so far markets are good.
They are mostly going to France and Spain but the downside is they eat a lot of small lobsters and crabs, which will maybe affect the stocks in a few years time.
It is quiet with visitors on boat trips and there are hardly any mackerel around.
This Saturday Reservoir Stoggs are playing at Newquay Rowing Club at 9pm.
