PEOPLE living with disabilities are being invited to connect over coffee in Newquay to help combat isolation.
Jo Ulczak is staging a disability coffee meet at the Headland Hotel on Thursday, June 18, at 2pm.
She said: “I suffered a severe brain haemorrhage which left me disabled.
“From this occurrence it showed me how little there was for people living with disability.
“I know, I searched high and low for advice, guidance and support.
“Anyone who is living with disability, feel that their world is shrinking and has lost confidence then this coffee meet up is for them.
“As it’s my first meet using the Headland Hotel, they have kindly offered complimentary tea and coffee.
“Carers, family, friends are also welcome.”
