Newquay lifeguards have warned people to stay away from the sand dunes at Crantock Beach after a section collapsed on Wednesday afternoon.

The Lifeguards installed signage in the area and are patrolling the dunes regularly to ensure no one is harmed.

A spokesman for Newquay RNLI Lifeguards said: “This is a timely reminder to stay away from the sand dunes at all times. 

“Stay safe.”
