PATIENTS attending appointments at a Newquay doctor’s surgery face weeks of disruption.

Newquay Health Centre car park in St Thomas Road will be closed for essential resurfacing and improvement works from Monday, June 8, to Friday, June 26.

A spokesperson for Kernow Local Medical Committee said: “During this period, parking will be extremely limited, with priority given to ambulances and Blue Badge holders, until June 21.

“There will be no on-site parking at all from June 21 to 26, including for Blue Badge holders.

“We kindly ask patients to make alternative travel arrangements, allow extra time for appointments, and consider walking where possible.

“Please also be mindful of local residents, limited drop-off space, and access for emergency vehicles.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding while these important improvements are completed.”
