AN evening of patriotic musical celebration is coming to Newquay’s parish church.

Mount Charles Band will be staging The Last Night of the Proms at St Michael's Church on Friday, September 12 at 7pm.

The event, which is being organised by St Michael Lodge and sponsored by Start and Co Estate Agents, will feature special guest appearances performing all the event favourites.

Andy Cole, who is helping to organise the event, said: “Were pleased to announce back by popular demand for one night only The Last Night of the Proms.

“Why not dress up in your nation’s colours. Bring your flags to wave. We will have them for sale too.”
