This week’s photograph takes us to St Blazey to see a sight not often spotted in the 21st century.
Barrie says of this photograph: "This was the turntable that was originally built as part of the Treffry railway line.
“It is now the only train turntable in the west country, the one at Penzance having been removed. Some years ago the Bodmin and Wenford railway sought to get it commissioned again.
“Many engines have been turned on it again including Royal Scotsman and only this year I went down and saw the last steam train to be built in the UK, the Tornado turned, watered and re-coaled on it.”
