Cornwall’s acclaimed Miracle Theatre is back with a highly anticipated new show, Hell’s Bells - touring indoor venues for the first time in a decade, from Tuesday, February 13 to Sunday, April 6.

Hell’s Bells is a murderous melodrama. A comic seaside mystery like no other, promising an enthralling blend of detective thriller drama and Miracle Theatre’s trademark colourful characters, physical antics, and humour. Get set for laughter, mystery, and magic.

The celebrated Cornish production company brings the hallucinogenic whodunnit to audiences in theatres, village halls and community centres, across Cornwall and the southwest – in an epic tour of 34 performances (some of which have already sold out!) across 27 venues over 8 weeks.

Hell’s Bells is the newest show created by the talented local team who’ve been captivating audiences in Cornwall since 1979 – and have an esteemed reputation for producing comical, highly entertaining, and clever shows.

Miracle Theatre’s founder and Artistic Director, Bill Scott, says: “In addition to our open-air productions in unlikely and out-of-the-way venues every summer, Miracle also used to spend the winter months visiting indoor spaces - from theatres and arts centres to village halls and schools.

After a pause of ten years, we’re delighted to be back on road, revisiting our old haunts and discovering some new ones. As always, our aim is to bring lavish and extraordinary shows to community venues of all sizes, no matter how unassuming or remote!

What better entertainment for a winter’s evening than a murder mystery, packed with larger-than-life characters, daft humour, and spine-chilling suspense – all delivered to your doorstep!”

This eagerly awaited new indoor tour is a testament to Miracle Theatre's commitment to delivering top-quality cultural events, that crucially are also accessible to all.

The story follows Ferelith on her seaside holiday, which takes an unexpected turn when the body of a lighthouse keeper has mysteriously washed ashore, covered in strange markings.

Grabbing an opportunity to escape from the tedium of the beach and unable to resist meddling in the police investigation, she soon finds herself tangled in a web of peculiar events – and as things grow increasingly strange, Ferelith’s legendary powers of intuition begin to fail her. Can her bumbling father, Grubb, who always seems to be one step behind and heading in the wrong direction, rescue her from the brink of disaster?

Hell’s Bells was developed with support from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund through the £132m Good Growth Programme, managed by Cornwall Council.

Tickets are now on sale, start from £10pp and welcomes adults, and children (recommended age 7+). For further information about Miracle Theatre, Hell’s Bells, tour dates or to book please visit www.miracletheateatre.co.uk
