A NEW post office has opened for business in Newquay

Tower Road Post Office has been unveiled in the Spar shop, which will offer 84 hours of service a week.

Services include mail, homeshopping returns, everyday banking for personal and business users, car tax renewal, bill payments, foreign currency with Euros on demand and other currencies on pre-order and Post Office travel card.

The post office is a replacement for Central Square Post Office following its closure in December due to the resignation of the postmaster.

The opening hours is significantly longer than what was previously offered.

Post Office partner account manager, Adam Shillcock, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to have restored a branch to this area of Newquay.”
