A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Camborne.
Police were called to a property in the area of Uglow Close following a report of a person being seriously injured on Tuesday, February 20 at around 5.55am.
A woman remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Police enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “A man in his forties from Camborne has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
“Both parties are believed to be known to each other and enquiries remain ongoing in the area.
“There will be an increased police presence during this time.”
