The historic hotel badly damaged in a fire at the weekend was famously used as a location for a hit 1970s movie.
The 1976 adaptation of the best-selling book The Eagle Has Landed starred Donald Sutherland, Robert Duvall and Michael Caine.

Like many movies and TV productions, it was filmed in the historic port of Charlestown.
And in one scene, the character played by Sutherland was thrown through the window of the Pier House Hotel.
The Grade II listed hotel was badly damaged in a blaze on Friday night. At one point more than 50 firefighters from all over Cornwall were tackling the flames.
Its owners, St Austell Brewery, have vowed that it will be returned to its former glory.
