CERTAINLY, a nice spell of weather over the next few days. A bit of a heatwave with a light easterly wind.
It is good weather for Cornish King Crabs, with calm conditions and sun on the water but the Octopus are moving away for some reason. Just a few being caught now.
The 135th anniversary of the Harbour Mission went well last Sunday evening. We sang three old hymns, and Newquay Rowing Club Singers did a couple. There was tea and cake afterwards.
This Saturday Strawdogs is playing at Newquay Rowing Club, and Sunday is the under 16 rowing championships in the bay.
