A Crantock beef farmer was thrilled after one of his pedigree cattle was awarded a prestigious accolade at an agricultural show staged in Devon.

Tim Eustice’s two-year-old South Devon heifer, Trevowah Pride, was awarded show champion in the interbreed beef category at the 121st Woolsery Show.

Tim said: “We are absolutely over the moon with our win from Woolsery Show.

“Days like this we normally only dream of. They don’t come around that often. So, to be tapped forward in a strong line up of cattle is very overwhelming.

“Our last supreme win was 2013 with our senior bull Hopton Maximus 2 at the Royal Cornwall Show. It will be a day we remember for a long time.”

Woolsery Show is a traditional rural show and it is well known for its friendly, welcoming and encouraging atmosphere and dates back to the early 1900s.
