Newquay Town Council organised various events at the Killacourt, which included an Easter egg hunt, Easter themed storytelling sessions with Hotch Potch Performance and mini fairground rides.
There was also face painting, an Easter Trail with a prize at the end, and a children’s disco from the bandstand.
The BIG Newquay Market was hosted by Cornwall Shop Small in collaboration with Newquay BID.

The town’s mayor, Cllr Drew Creek said: “The Easter Egg Extravaganza was a brilliant example of what Newquay Town Council’s events team does best.

“Despite Storm Dave threatening to derail things at the last minute, they adapted, delivered, and gave away more than 600 Easter eggs to delighted families across the weekend, that is no small feat and deserves enormous recognition.
“Seeing so many families out together, enjoying the festivities alongside Newquay BID’s monthly market, was a reminder of what makes this town so special.
“Events like this bring our community together and show visitors exactly why Newquay is such a wonderful place to be.
“If you haven’t yet taken part in the Easter Trail, there’s still time, get the family out and make the most of the holidays.”
