AFFECTIONATELY known as ‘Superlungs’, Terry Reid is heading to this year’s St Ives September Festival.
An integral figure in UK rock and roll history, the legendary singer-songwriter will appear at St Ives Theatre on Thursday, September 18.
Reid famously turned down a prospective role as the front man of Led Zeppelin, recommending his good friend Robert Plant instead.
He has enjoyed a long-standing career with highlights including tours with Cream, Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac, appearances at The Isle of White Festival, Glastonbury – and Mick Jagger’s wedding!
Recently returning from performing in San Diego, Terry’s St Ives appearance is part of a month-long tour which will take him round the UK as well as including two shows in Dublin and four in Norway.
