THE ‘godfathers’ of Drum and Bass music will be putting on a special performance in Newquay.

Fabio & Grooverider will be performing at the Mermaid Inn in Porth on Saturday, April 25 from 8pm.

Emerging from the late 80s rave scene the pioneering DJs were instrumental in developing Jungle and Drum & Bass. Their 30 plus year career includes influential radio shows on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM shaping the scene with soulful Liquid Funk, Fabio, and technical Prototype recordings, Grooverider.

They are widely respected for their longevity, influence on the genre's evolution, and ability to break new talent.

Fabio & Grooverider were voted among the top 25 greatest DJs of all time by Mixmag.
