COMEDIAN, author, podcaster and radio host Geoff Norcott will be visiting the Regal Theatre in Redurth on Tuesday, March 10 his latest tour Basic Bloke 2 – There’s No Bloke Without Fire.
Unlike most sequels, Basic Bloke 2 will move beyond some themes of the original.
Geoff’s been moving in male mental health circles for a while now, but while they’re all saying blokes should ‘check in’ on each other, he’s wondering what happens if you do ‘check in’ all the time but they mainly want to send you politically incorrect memes.
How about a system like the start of Netflix shows, where each bloke offers a ‘previously on’? It saves time.
Geoff has numerous TV credits to his name, has presented his own documentaries on BBC Two and is published author. After numerous appearances on Times Radio, he now hosts his own Friday night show on Times Radio and continues to front his podcast What Most People Think.
Being a rare stand-up who leans to the right, Geoff has also found himself in demand as a social commentator.
His satirical commentary has found its way into national publications with articles appearing in numerous newspapers and he remains in high demand as a writer for TV too.
