A Newquay footballer gearing up to take part in the Women’s World Cup visited a local school to help inspire schoolchildren.
Katie Robinson met with pupils at Bishops School to talk about her career.
The Brighton player has been selected in the England squad to take part in Women’s World Cup, which takes place in Australia and New Zealand between July 20 and August 20. England will be looking to add global success to their Euro title.
A Bishops School spokesperson said: “We were delighted to have a special visitor in school. England Lioness Katie Robinson came in and met children from Years 4, 5 and 6, who asked her questions about her footballing career to date, including how she was feeling about going to the World Cup.
“Our teacher Mr Rowe then led the children in prayer wishing her and all the Lionesses well.”
