PENRICE Academy in St Austell has announced its newly-appointed head students for the new academic year.

Reuben and Evie have been selected as head boy and head girl. Joining them in the student leadership team are deputy head students Connor, Jamie, Rosie, Maitilda, Levi and Sophie.

Together, they will play a role in sharing the views of students, leading initiatives and representing the school.

Reuben, who is a member of St Austell Swimming Club, steps up to the position of head boy having previously held a Year 10 role in the school’s student parliament.

Evie steps into the role of head girl having been involved in the school’s performing arts, having featured in the last four annual Penrice Academy productions.
