A dance academy staged a nostalgic show to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Bounce Dance Academy, which runs classes in ballet, street dance, lyrical, contemporary, pointe work, pre-school, acro and tap in Wadebridge and Newquay, performed ‘20 Years of Bounce’ at The Regal Theatre in Redruth.

Each section began with a carefully curated video montage, allowing parents and audiences to see the students as they were back in 2008, when the first show was performed .(Picture: Carolyn Oakley)
The 191 students, ranging from aged four to 22, took audiences on a heartfelt journey revisiting iconic performances from past years and showcasing the many genres of dance taught at the academy.

Director Rachel Pearse said: “I’m so grateful to everyone who made this show possible, including incredible staff, wonderful helpers on the day and all the families who have supported us over the past 20 years.
