CORNWALL’S association with myth, magic and other strange worldly activities will be the topic of a forthcoming history talk being staged in Newquay.

Jason Semmens will be giving an illustrated presentation titled Witchcraft and Folk Magic in Cornwall at Newquay Museum Group’s meeting, which will be held at the Great Western Hotel’s function room on Tuesday, March 10 at 7.30pm.

Len Sheppard from Newquay Old Cornwall Society said: “Here Jason Semmens, a well-known expert in this aspect of Cornish cultural history, will share his knowledge with us.

“Join us to explore Cornwall’s rich traditions of myth and magic.”
