THE community is invited to a festive evening of music and celebration in Newquay.
St Michael & Towan Masonic Lodges is staging its annual Christmas carol concert featuring Newquay Town Band and The Hitchikers, which will be held at St Michael's Church on Sunday, December 7 at 6.30pm.
Andy Cole, who is helping to organise the event, said: “This much-anticipated event promises an enchanting evening of festive music and seasonal joy, welcoming residents and visitors alike to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in the heart of Newquay.
“Guests will be treated to a spectacular line-up, featuring the celebrated Newquay Town Band alongside the energetic Hitchhikers. Together, they will perform beloved Christmas carols and holiday favourites, creating a magical atmosphere for all ages.
“The carol concert embodies the lodges’ commitment to fostering community spirit and supporting local traditions. Attendees can look forward to a warm welcome, festive refreshments during the interval, and an opportunity to make cherished seasonal memories with friends and family.
“Advance tickets can be purchased from Newquay Tourist Information, ensuring your place at one of Newquay’s most popular Christmas events. Tickets will also be available at the church door on the evening of the concert.

Admission is £8 per person, which includes interval tea, coffee and biscuits.
